Jeff and I dated for 2 months before we kissed. We both wanted to wait till it truly meant something. The morning of June 17th, I was texting my Bishop and I made a joke saying, "You just wait, we are going to have a little Clynn (my Bishop's name) Carter someday." My Bishop then texted, "Sounds like someone is in love?" I started thinking about what he said.. then tears filled my eyes and that's when I realized that I was in love with Jeffrey Carter. He has every quality that I could ever want (and more) and every quality he has is so much stronger than I ever thought could be in someone. I then text my Bishop and told him that I am in love with Jeff and that I was going to tell him that night :) That night Jeff and I and Calan went to his buddy's reception, then afterwards we went back to my house and I put Calan to bed. Then I told him I was in love with him. I was expecting him to kiss me right after, but he didn't. He told me he was in love with me too and that he was just waiting for me. Then.. he kissed me for the first time. It was amazing! I've always wanted to fall in love with my best friend and that's exactly what happened! I'm SO blessed Heavenly Father brought Jeff into my life. Someone who loves the Lord completely, who respects me the way he does, and who now.. loves me! :o)
